A camera bubble makes a recording feel like a conversation, but not everyone wants their kitchen in it. VeoRec separates you from your background in real time, on your own computer, and lets you choose what goes behind you.

Four ways to change the background

Processed on your machine

The background effect runs in the extension, in your browser, using your graphics card. Your camera picture is not sent anywhere to be processed; it is only part of the video you choose to upload.

A bubble that fits the video

Choose the bubble's shape and size, mirror the camera, move it anywhere on the page, or float it in its own picture-in-picture window. You can also record with the camera alone.

Is it included on the Free plan?

Yes. Camera backgrounds are part of the extension on every plan.

Does it need special hardware?

No. It runs on your computer's graphics through the browser, so there is nothing to install beyond the extension.

The Free plan keeps up to 50 videos and 5 GB, with recordings of up to 10 minutes in up to 1080p, AI transcripts and automatic titles; free videos carry a small VeoRec badge. Pro is $7.99 a month or $79 a year: unlimited videos, 1 TB of storage, recordings of up to 10 hours, no branding, view analytics, password-protected links, custom thumbnails, and AI summaries, chapters and translation.
